Are you contemplating a change in your life, a new step or just want to maintain what you already have? Do you want to explore the different aspects of your life with a professional who can help? I am here to help.
My name is Zhaklin Shakhbandaryan, at Faith In Healing Family Therapy, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist.
I have obtained a Master’s degree in the practice of marriage and family therapy from the University of Southern California. My work has involved therapy with individuals on mental wellness. I have helped clients work through depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues and other concerns. My clients have been from various cultural backgrounds and from different walks of life. I have worked with socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and families and have obtained education and experience in cultural competency and sensitivity. I speak Armenian.
I believe we all have inner strengths that can be channeled and brought to light by therapy. My goal is to help my clients tap into their true selves and realize their gifts and strengths. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy and other forms of therapy to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals. I also incorporate a spiritual framework for clients wanting to utilize that approach.
Therapy is a journey, and my aim is to help my clients go through the journey and find their true, remarkable selves.
If you want to seek psychotherapy, please contact me and I will get back to you promptly. I offer a free phone consultation. I accept many forms of insurance.
